Gauge Length

The Boyd Mechanical Spiral Float Level Gauge uses an aluminum extrusion riser and a vertical float to measure liquid levels in tight spaces with accuracy. The clear lens and needle is fully sealed and does not penetrate the tank so there is no leak points above or below the gauge.

We offer this gauge in multiple lengths shown below.  you will measure your tank overall height then find the closest gauge thats below the height measured.

Example:  Tank height = 12"  Choose 11.5" Gauge length

This Gauge Mounts using the industry standard 5 bolt pattern.  Any of our weld on level sensor flanges will work. Click here for flanges.

Mechanical spiral gauge and electronic sender

I originally planned to use only the electronic sender but decided to purchase a mechanical spiral gauge as a fail proof secondary fuel Gauge. It works great and I never have to wonder how much fuel I have when I’m out in the backcountry even if the electronic unit fails. Great quality and easy installation to my aftermarket fuel tank.
