🛠️ Installation Guidelines
Mounting:
- Tank is designed to mount to the bottom of the frame rail
- Use the 3" mounting tabs on both sides for secure attachment
- Ensure proper clearance from bed floor and frame components
- Verify no interference with suspension or drivetrain components
Warning: On 1955-1987 Chevrolet C10 trucks, removing the rear crossmember to install a Panhard bar suspension lets the frame flex and can crack the tank at the mounts. That is an installation issue and is not covered by our two-year limited structural warranty. If your suspension kit calls for removing it, ensure to replace it. Read the full note
Fuel System Connections:
- Pump Outlet: Connect to #6 ORB female fitting - this feeds your fuel system
- Return Line: Connect to 3/8" NPT return fitting from your fuel pressure regulator
- Vent: Properly vent the tank (1/2" NPT on bed fill, 5/8" hose barb on side fill)
- Fuel Level Sender: Install sender unit in the provided flange
Electrical Connections:
- Wire the Aeromotive Stealth 340 pump according to Aeromotive's specifications
- Use appropriate gauge wiring and relay for pump operation
