Have a 1986 Jaguar XJ6 with dual saddle tanks and a slew of valves and switches to perform change over. System got rusty including tanks, valves, etc. I am replacing stock fuel injection with modern Haltech ECU setup and decided to replace tanks with a simple single modern (non rusting!!!) aluminum tank. Boyd had the perfect size and price was great (ordered before bloody tariffs too). Have all the parts and pieces and installing this month.
Needed a larger fuel tank for my Pontoon Boat. It is a small boat but only had a 9-gallon plastic tank. I ordered this 15-gallon tank from Boyd and could not be more satisfied. The communication once ordered was great. I received several updates during the process. The tank came undamaged and looks beautiful. Fantastic welds. Aside from additional fuel capacity it looks so much better than the plastic fuel tank that came with the boat. I highly recommend Boyd Welding.
really pleased with the welding artwork done on this tank, its going to hold up quite well, I Will need to apply a protective coating though to the fuel gauge as this tank will be in a corrosive environment (Power Washing Trailer) and I’m already starting to see signs of corrosion on the fuel gauge rim. If you have a stainless option for a gauge this would be an attractive upgrade.
