- This tank is a NON-EFI but we have constructed the tank so that you can upgrade to our in-tank EFI system in the future.

Rollover Vent:

Q: What is the Roll Over Safety Vent?

A: The Roll Over Safety Vent is a simple ball check valve that allows air in and out of the tank as needed. In the event of a Roll Over the ball with drop and block the vent port from leaking fuel. Additionally, the ROV also has a small float inside that will help reduce the amount of liquid entering the vent hose during normal everyday use. 


Fuel LeveL Sensor:

Q: What Fuel Level Sensor do I Choose?

A:  For C10 trucks 63-66 you will choose 0-30 OHM. For 67-87 you will choose 0-90 OHM. 

Q: If I don’t Choose a Sensor do I still get the flange?

A: Yes Absolutely, we provide a level sensor flange standard on all C10/F100 Tanks. If you plan on using the tank before you decide the level sensor you will need a block off kit with gasket to seal the flange for use.


Mounting Kit:

Q: Do I need the mounting kit?

A: That’s a Yes and No answer fully based on your personal preference. First you need to understand how the tank mounts. If you mount the tank in its intended position to the bottom of the frame rail, the top of the tank will block the inner part of the web making it difficult to get inside with a wrench

No) Our tanks can be mounted without a mounting kit no problem you will simply need to provide your own hardware or fabricate your own way of mounting.

Yes) Our mounting kit includes what we refer to as the “nut plate” which is a machined threaded bar. You can mount this nut plate to the inside lower leg of the frame either by tack welding or bolting which will provide you threaded provisions not requiring you to hold a wrench on a nut.



Q: How far down below the frame does the tank hang?

A: The tank will stick down approx 7” at the deepest point near the axle and 5” closest to the bumper

Q: Is the tank Baffled?

A:  Yes, we build every tank as an EFI tank which includes 2 Main Baffles and a Middle baffle containing the pump area.

Q: If I purchase a NON EFI tank can I upgrade later?

A:  YES, we build every tank with the same EFI Baffling and EFI provision so you can add our In-tank pump assembly any time or add any Aeromotive product using our adapter plate.

Q: Do i have to cut the frame or bed to use the side filler?

A: NO, If you install the tank to the bottom of the frame rail as intended the fill neck will allow you to run a hose between the frame and the bed floor. it is very tight but it can be done.
