Purchased the 63-72 C10 tank for a current project. Wanting to relocate the in cab tank to the rear frame. After a lot of looking and Google searches later, I kept coming back to the Boyd Tank. Glad I did! It’s very well constructed, with quality in mind.. I’ve only dry fit it so far, but from first glance it’s only going to be some hole drilling for the mounts. My only thought is, it would be nice to have a higher capacity tank 24-25gal instead of the 19gal. But, these are designed for the original orientation of the frame crossmembers. With a little modifications to the rear crossmember these tanks could easily be expanded by a few gallons.
But all in all. Boyd Tanks are the Bomb!
