I actually did not get it to do what you made it for. I cut off the "pick up tube" and placed a bolt with a O ring to seal the outside and used it for a clean out access plate for my Kubota BX2200 tractor's fuel tank. After a few attempts at sealing it all up, which I need all the screws to be threaded in about the same, then turn each one the same amount using a criss cross pattern, it sealed real good and is working like a champ.
It was so easy I took it apart and did it again. I am still giggling.
