A CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum fuel cap with 225 series 5 TPI modified buttress threads and a Viton gasket, made to fit our 225 series weld-in necks.

Vented caps: The vent is a groove machined into the threads that bypasses the gasket, so a vented cap will leak on a tank that moves, like in a truck bed. We recommend a non-vented cap with a vent port on the tank.

Note: Aluminum threads cross-thread and gall easily. Start every plug and fitting by hand and never install them dry. Thread damage from dry-fitted plugs or hardware isn't covered under warranty.
