The tanks arrived earlier than expected and it's a shame to hide them in the engine bay. The quality and appearance is exceptional. We are in the process of installing the new tanks. The first one (right side-Pax) went in quite easily. The left side appears to require removing the Charge Cooler. We are waiting for ordered parts to arrive from UK before taking anything off the engine that has a gasket. These are parts that Lotus should have ordered and installed at the production level. If Lotus is going to put gas tanks someplace that is virtually inaccessible then they should install a product in that doesn't rust. Thankfully Boyd Welding steeped up to cover Lotus's mistake (It's and 1989 Turbo Esprit SE so I guess GM shares some of the blame also.)

Wash it Windows Pressure Wash

I received the tank much faster than I expected. Craftsman is excellent. The fit was perfect. Thank you Boyd Welding.

If I had to fabricate it myself..it would have taken an entire day. Came with clear diagram and instructions. It would have been even better if also, there was an accurate printed paper template to just tape on to tank to spot the holes.

I had my mechanic install this for me due to disabilities in my hands. Instead of tearing the whole back end of tractor, apart, this gives you access to clean it out with plenty of room. I bought my BX used and there was all kind of crap in it. I was about to get rid of it Now it runs so much better. I thank the crew there and will recommend this on the web if it’s ok. My mechanic got two. I also had the stupid fuel under the tank relocated to the front with a water filter separator.
