A simple, unbaffled 5-gallon universal tank built from 1/8" 5052 aluminum, with one installed pickup tube and two 3/8" NPT top ports for a vent and a return. You choose the fill cap or neck, an optional sender flange and extra pickup tubes at checkout.

Tank Options & Provisions

Fill (Tank Cap / Neck Option)
On top. There is no standard neck; the fill is set by the cap or neck you choose at checkout. Choose one rated for your fuel. All tanks must be vented to work properly. With a non-vented cap, vent the tank through a 3/8" NPT port or use a managed vent cap. Open vented caps will leak.

Vent
3/8" NPT flush 6061-T6 aluminum port on top. Plumb it to a vapor canister or filter.

Sending Unit (Flange & Level Sensor Option)
The tank does not come with a level sensor mount. Add a 5-bolt SAE sender flange at checkout and install your own sensor, or have us install the flange with a block-off kit or a mechanical gauge. A sensor or block-off must be installed on the flange before the tank is used.

Pickup (Pickup Tube Options)
One pickup tube is installed: 3/8" NPT half coupling on top, 1/4" Sch 40 aluminum tube, 7.75" long with a 15° cut. One is all you need unless you're running multiple engines.

Install Notes

The tank must be vented. Open vented caps will leak. Plumb the 3/8" NPT vent port to a vapor canister or filter, or use a managed vent cap.
If you add the sender flange, a sensor or block-off kit must be installed on it before the tank is used.
Aluminum threads cross-thread and gall easily. Start every plug and fitting by hand and never install them dry. Thread damage from dry-fitted plugs or hardware isn't covered under warranty.
Measure your application before ordering. Full dimensions and port locations are on the reference drawing in the product photos.
Put rubber isolator pads (or similar rubber isolation) under the mounting tabs to isolate the tank from vibration and chafe.

What size fittings do I need?
The pickup, vent and return ports are all 3/8" NPT. Supply your own final fittings and plugs.

How do I vent the tank?
Through the 3/8" NPT vent port on top, plumbed to a vapor canister or filter, or with a vented or managed vent cap.

Does it have a drain?
No. This tank has no drain port.

Does it come with a level sensor?
No. The tank has no sender mount as standard. Add the 5-bolt SAE flange at checkout, alone, with a block-off kit or with a mechanical gauge.

Can I feed more than one engine from this tank?
Yes. Add up to 3 extra pickup tubes (4 total) at checkout.

What fuels can I use?
Gasoline or diesel. Choose a cap rated for your fuel.

Is the tank baffled?
No. It has no baffles.

What is the warranty?
A 2-year limited structural warranty. Thread damage from dry-fitted plugs or hardware isn't covered.

Can you modify this tank or build a custom one?
Yes, but not for a single tank. We can't make any changes for a one-tank order. Custom or modified tanks require a 5–10 piece order, and drawing fees usually apply. Contact us for more information.
